Sister Maureen MacMahon OP is a Dominican sister. She was born in Dublin, received her early education in St Louis’ primary school, Rathmines and then became a boarder in Dominican College, Wicklow. On leaving school she entered the Dominican Order at Cabra. It was here that she began her study of art, and later having attended the national college of Art in Kildare Street, Dublin, she received an ATC Certificate and Diploma in art teaching. She has exhibited paintings in many venues and she continues to paint and exhibit.
